From humble beginnings in 2001, Point One Designs has grown to become one of the premier professional wedding cinematographers in Bali. We are based in Denpasar but are also available for serving Indonesia and world wide.

The company is known for its team of innovators and using approaches for each new project with a goal of improving on the one before. Specializing in wedding films, the team strives to remain as unobtrusive as possible on the wedding day, and puts a premium on encouraging teamwork with other wedding professionals at each event. We film the day documentary style, by allowing the day to flow naturally however we bring the tools to create a cinematic experience and final film. We want your wedding film to be an experience of the whole day, we never skip a beat. That’s why all packages include full day coverage and a minimum of two cinematographers, to ensure we tell the complete story, from lipstick to the last dance and every moment in between.

Well, it’s like real life as if you were there. A wedding is an event that you want to be able to relive just like the day itself. With its longer life span, shooting in 4K is the closest we’ll have to taking a time machine back to your wedding day. Another amazing feature of shooting your wedding video in 4K UltraHD is that you can grab a still frame from the video and print it. The resolution is so big that prints can be made from the video.
Our style is Simple Elegance. We deliver a classic, timeless edit rather than the “in-your-face” look. We are passionate about getting the best possible angle and composition at your wedding.
We are constantly updating our gear for our wedding couples to be able to offer them the absolute best quality currently available. We are the pioneer for the latest vdeography technology, the 4K ULTRAHD resolution films.
Cinematic package equipment includes use of the DSLR Cameras with a variety of lenses in 1980 x 1080 px resolution. 4K Cinematic package equipment includes use of the 4K DSLR Cameras with a variety of lenses in 3840 x 2160 px resolution. Cinematic effect (picture movement effect) is achieved by using supporting equipment like slider, glider and crane.
It really depends on package you select, for example a package with 2 cameraman will come with 3 crew members, which are 2 cameraman and 1 assistant.
Wedding highlights are a wonderful, quick way to view your wedding. Highlights are like the frosting on the cake, but they are NOT the cake. Your full-length documentary will be the heart and soul of your wedding film. So many of our former couples say the same thing: "Over time, the full documentary becomes so much more important. It shows the details of the day. It allows us to re-connect with loved ones- especially those that have passed on." We film our weddings in a true documentary style, which offers us plenty of quality footage for both a full Long-Form film AND a highlights reel:)
I can't tell you how important teamwork is for wedding vendors. I have worked with most established photographers dozens of times, and its like seeing a brother or sister again at weddings: We shoot as a team, share shot suggestions, and communicate shooting positions. I take the same team approach with wedding professionals I am unfamiliar with.
Couples often tell us after the wedding day that they hardly remembered seeing us at their event. To me, that's a compliment. We don’t overwhelm you with multiple videographers or hover around you with a steadicam during your first dance. We prefer to record your day as transparently as possible, and never become the center of attention. Your wedding will be filmed from the perspective of your guests- we are very sensitive to not block their view- they have often traveled hundreds of miles to celebrate your day.
That we can never be satisfied with the work we produced last month or last year. I spend several hours each week researching current trends and products in our industry. I also realize that we produce beautiful wedding films not only for you and your spouse, but for your children, for your children's children, for your posterity that may view your wedding 100 years from now. Your wedding film will be a treasured family heirloom- passed on from generation to generation. That motivates me to produce outstanding work.
We require a 50% non-refundable retainer. The balance is due two weeks prior to the event. We also accept Paypall.
We can provide the files in DVD, Blu-Ray, or on an HDD depending on the needs. Video output is prepared in PAL video format. If you prefer NTSC video format, need advance notification.
